THURSDAY, June 4th

MECHANICS MASTERCLASS WITH DEREK COOK

Time: 4:00-5:30pm ET

The masterclass: If ever there was a time to dive into a subject you love, are inspired by, excited by, terrified of, overwhelmed by…now is that time. Join two of the most studied and knowledgeable yoga teachers when it comes to biomechanics, and physiologically informed asana, Derek Cook and Giulia Pline, for a systematic deep dive into the body. We will start at the bottom and work our way up, slowly unpacking sections of the body, how they work, how they fail, and how to get them back on line and in service to our overall movement and practice. Together these two passionate teachers will go over basic anatomy, essential biomechanics, mobility drills, strength building exercises, and self guided release work to help you build a body that moves with ease and efficiency through your yoga practice. Class will be a mixture of discussion and movement, exploration and instruction.
